1) Photograph:

A clear, recent passport-size photograph as the same will be matched at the time of the entrance exam.

• Don’t wear a hat or too many accessories while getting your photo clicked.
• If you wear spectacles, please ensure that you do not have a reflection of light on your spectacles.

2) Signature:

Scanned copy of your signature to be uploaded in the prescribed format that is JPG/ JPEG.
Take a white paper, do the valid signature you use in banking or government documents, click a picture and upload it. In 2024, it was advised to sign on white paper with a Black Ink pen at the official website of XAT.

3) ID Proof:

• Your valid ID Proof issued by the government needs to be uploaded in the application form. You will get multiple options for ID Proof such as:
• Aadhar Card
• PAN card
• Voter ID
• Driving License
• Passport

You have to choose any one and upload the same document. The image should not be blurred and details on your ID Proof should be clearly visible.

Step-by-Step Guide for Filling XAT

Applying for the Xavier Aptitude Test 2025 involves a few simple steps that candidates need to follow. Here’s a detailed guide on how to complete the registration process:

Step 1:  Registration at the official website of XAT

For XAT 2025 Registration, candidates must visit the official website of XAT and click on the “Register” button. You will then be presented with a registration to fill out, requiring your name, email address, mobile number, city, state, and a secure password. The name information must be on the applicant’s mark sheet, and provide the right email as this email address will be the primary means of communication from the institute.

Important Note: Candidates must remember their login credentials, as the dashboard will be accessed repeatedly to manage their application, raise admission-related queries, and track progress.

Step 2: Log in to the XAT official website

After filling out the form and completing the necessary captcha verification, you will get a verification email which will be sent to the email address provided by you. Upon clicking the verification link in the email, the candidate can then log in to the website using their email address and password to proceed with the application process.

Step 3: Fill out the Application Form

After logging in, a dashboard will be shown as an interface where the application form will be displayed and candidates will see an “orange button” prompting them to either continue with a partially filled form or start a new application. Start filling your form.

• Fill in your personal details: including name, date of birth, gender, nationality, and contact information.
• Academic qualifications: such as details of your bachelor’s degree, your 10th and 12th marks correctly and any other relevant qualifications. Make sure to provide accurate information, as this will be verified later.
• Work experience: If you have work experience, provide details of your experience, including the name of the organization, your designation, and the duration of employment.
  • Don’t skip this part if you have experience as it may give you a slight advantage over non-experience candidates in an interview.
• Choose Exam Centers: Select your preferred exam centres from the list provided in the application. XAT offers multiple exam centres across India, so choose the ones most convenient for you and according to your distance.

Step 4: Program Details

This section of the XAT 2025 registration application form requires candidates to specify their preference. Candidates can choose one or more programmes from the list of programmes mentioned over there. But have to pay for every program when they choose more than one.

Note: Under this section, be careful while choosing your option for the question: Do you want to apply for XLRI?
Many candidates select ‘No’ as an option. Select ‘No’ only in case you don’t want to apply in XLRI and are giving XAT for some other B-school accepting XAT scores.

The application fee for the XAT 2025 Registration form is Rs 2200 for all applicants. Candidates opting for more than one XLRI programme need to pay an additional fee of Rs 200 each.
